Exterior

updated: Apr 14th 2008 @ 07:06 PM

The exterior has been changed a bunch. One thing is for certain, I will retain the 86 front end, it is what makes this car.

First the taillenses have been changed a bunch.

orignal                                                     now

ALso I striped the faded cracked Ford emblem and replaced it with one of these.

Tint was added. Work was done my Pablo Blue in Webster, Tx

Added a pair of 3" chrome exhast tips

Will have a better front end shot with out the chips.

Hear is probably a little more subtle, but dramatic change. Quater windows were swapped, chrome blacked out, tint and side mirrors changed.

UPDATE

Converted the front and rear from 4 lug to 5 lug. In the process, I upgraded the stock front 10" disc brakes to 13" Cobra discs. Updgraded the stock 4-lug 86' spindles to 95' 5 lug spindles. All around the car is now sitting on Factory Bullit rims with 245/45ZR17's as compared to the factory 10 hole rims 225/50R15. Car handles extremely well and braking is 10 times better.

Hey folks, I was wondering if someone out there with an 88-93 Fox convertible could do me a favor.  I am looking for a picture of the of the ‘A’ pillar post window weather strip showing the weather strip and inside trim molding (the molding on the inside of the pillar post) and another detail picture of where the pillar post molding meets the door seal molding.  I am redoing this and need an example – my car was repaired long before I purchased it and they kind of did a ‘custom’ job on this area.  I want it to be right this time.

Thanks,

Tim
