Double D and his Fast Fox

Hey There,
Just want to apologize for taking so long to get my website up and running. I guess I've been a busy man lately, but no excuses.

A Little About Me:

Well, where to begin? I'm a 22 year old Sprint Car driver who just got married to my lovely wife Kim, who is also one of my competitors. I spend my days at a Manufacturing Plant known as Fimbel Door where i'm a General Service Manager who oversees the sales and distribution of Fimbel Garage Doors. Pretty exciting so far? Being the son of my father I've always had a love for cars. I began racing when I was 4 1/2 years old and haven't stopped since. Growing up I was always working on cars some way or another and as I moved into my high school years I decided to further my education by training to be an Automotive Technician. I graduated top of my class and won a few awards, but when the time came to go away to college I was to afraid to leave my friends and my home so here I am.

I first fell in love with the Fox Body Mustang when I was about 14 or so. Two good older friends of mine who happened to be twin brothers were lucky enough to buy a pair of 92 Gt's. One was a black hatchback and the other a white convertible. The day they got them they came and picked me up to go for a ride, from that point on I knew I had to have one. I saved my pennies and as I got closer to 16 my dad and I started looking. It seemed to take almost a year to find something I thought was worth buying, but I finally found one. It was a 1993 White Gt 5spd Hatchback with Black interior. It wasn't in the greatest shape but it was my first car and I loved it. It was just re-painted, not a very good job at all I might add, had 70,000 miles and was a 1 owner theft recovery from Philly. After owning the car about 2 months I added a few bolt-ons,(underdrive pulleys, edelbrock throttle body & Egr, C&L Mass Air and a Flowmaster 2-Chamber catback) not much but as a school student it was all I could afford. About the same time she started to smoke pretty bad. After doing a car fax report I found out the car had 5 owners, was recked really hard once, was stolen once, had 170,000 miles and was in a flood. (No wonder the interior smelled like the bottom of a river, haha) Ok, so it wasn't the car I thought it was but I made it work. I became good friends with my "Check Oil" light and the tire shop. I never could get that alignment straight. It may have been beat, but it was mine and I had a lot of fun with it.

A short 8 months or so later I laid her to rest. Not by choice though. On my way to school one morning a car in front of me stopped, as did I. A Toyota Tacoma doing about 65 mph on it's way to a fire call decided not to. I got rear-ended
so hard the hood wouldn't open. Everything was crushed. I was a little upset and I hated to see her go but it was a blessing in disguise. Two weeks later I received a fat insurance check for 2,000 more than I paid for the car and I was on the hunt again. I searched for about 2 months and that's when I found my Fast Fox. And so the fun begins.
