Hey everyone, my name is Jamie, I am 28 years old and live in the great white north of Canada, well not that white. My mustang is a 1994 V6 which I bought in 1997 a few months after my wife and I got married. Obviuosly a V6 was all we could afford at the time but it was a Mustang and we were in love with it. Very shortly after I got the car I had silver racing stripes installed. Slowly but surely I started modifying the car, my wife just loved the fact I was modifying the car, haha yeah right.

Not long after I also picked up an 88 5.0L notchback, which I did some work to, installed the GT ground F/X and exhaust. Having two stangs was just not practical and cost effective, since the V6 was newer and in better shpe I decided to sell the 5.0L, I decided that modifying the V6 would be an interesting challenge since there are very limited parts for it. I do miss my 5.0L though, I will get another one someday, maybe an 05 GT, if my wife will let me.

Since modifying the V6 I have gone through a bunch of different setups, wheels and such, currently I am adapting the 03 Cobra blower to the V6 motor, I already have the prototype done now I just have to weld it up out of aluminum, I enjoy doing things others havn't done before, which is also why I have the Thunderbird Supercoupe motor in my stang now, I just love the look and low end power of the Roots blower.

Below are a few pics of my car through the various stages its been in, the bottom pic is its current stage as I have the car completely apart AGAIN.

Thanks to all who gave me advise on what to do with the sensor. Apparently it worked. The check engine light has not come on at all. I even bought the Chilton Manual to make sure I did everything right. Thanks everyone.

Hey Fro,

I need some help with a little problem I have. My check engine light came on, and I ran diagnostics on it and it came back with P0401. So I replaced the EGR Valve and found out that wasn't the problem. Now I get a P0402 and I think I have it narrowed down to the pressure sensor but I need some one to confirm that for me. What do you think?

Dennis

If you've already done the EGR valve, the DPFE pressure sensor is the next likely culprit
