notice the nice hand movement....
Thats a good thing it was just the rocker.. hope everything goes well when thats fixed
how many takes was that, because I know you weren't that calm Nic..
More like
Nic: I can't "bleep","bleep", "bleep" it J, I told you to tighten these things.
J: Yes dear.
LMAO Charlie .. that's what happens when you take a potty call in the middle of an engine build .. LOL .. Glad that's all it was tho. Should have it back together and running in about 30 minutes.
The real story is when I did my rockers I forgot to tighten the keepers....so J did them for me, and he was so frustrated at me that he missed one...lol
Rot Ro! Glad it was somethin' loose and not somethin' broke. That listenin' thingy really helped, didn't it? lol. Good luck.
so all the rockers are re-adjusted, thanks to J's help cranking it over, I once again adjusted the rockers...for the third time. I went with a 1/2 turn on the adjustment this time, and I left the keeper tightening up to J.
I think I now memorize the firing order...1,3,7,2,6,5,4,8
You better write it down .. lol
lol.
J was more interested in washing his car for you rmaiden voyage.. LOL J, you better get use to that hand movement if you keep screwing things up on Nic's car. Glad to hear it was just a loose rocker, but when you are doing this much modifying, and getting so close to running her down the road, you have to be super careful to make sure all the little things are done..
Yep. See I actually do know WTH Im talking about once in a while. lol With the 1/2 turn you shouldnt have anymore problems with that. Unless J forgot to tighten another one. lmao It is a good idea to check them after you put some miles on it though.
Glad thats all it was Nicole! Now finish that up so you can look forward to swapping the rear end & adding rear discs :-)
TRACK TIME !!!! I know you wanna.
