90 Coupe , 11:1 comp, 331, Afr 185's, Comp NX282HR cam , Mildly ported Vic. Jr. intake, 650 Holley,Performance automatic C-4, with a shot of juice.
Im converting it to EFI. So I just want everyones opinions or suggestions on which setup to go with. Its either...
A.) Setup the Vic. Jr. for a Spyder style setup. I've been looking at this for a long time. It just looks too cool.
B.) Go with the normal EFI style setup. Probably a Systemax intake. I do have a Comp Polymer box upper, and GT-40 lower that it goes on. The lower is unported and just isnt big enough for the stroker. So I could have it ported or look for one thats already done.
The goal here is speed. The cool factor of the Spyder is nice, but not worth being slower. Im not concerned with which one has the higher HP number on the Dyno. No doubt the Spyder will have more peak HP. I just want the lower ET.
Any other opinions, thoughts, or concerns are welcome. Thanks in advance for your input.
***Final Note***
The car had Lakewood lift bars on it that were not installed properly. It had no rear suspension. I could stand on the trunk and jump up and down, and it wouldnt budge. lol The only 1/4 mile pass its made on the bottle, it ran a 10.26 @135 mph. I assume the rear had something to do with the excessive mph for the ET. I know theres really only one way to know for sure, but In your opinions and experiences, do you think the ET be similar to the carb setup ?
