would be a cool idea....maybe even expand it into different categories, like best picture with Mustang only, best burn-out picture, best racing picture, best picture with Mustang and offspring, best picture with Mustang and hot women, etc...I think there are an infinate amount of categories which could increase participation.  Especially since I am sure there are a lot of people that already have pictures that would fit these categories or would want to show off a bit (their kids, their significant other(s) and so on).

 

Clear this up for me.....10 photos from one person or one photo from 10 people?

This was my idea.
  Look at the link that VP put up and scroll down just below the photos of my car. I have it there. a few people liked it so I put it up in the request a feature part.

Here is what I was thinking.

At least 10 different members submit one Photo.

The photos are all displayed at about 500x500 pixels and expandable for a better view.

Members vote 1st, 2nd, 3rd similar to the car show.

Winner gets 250 points, second 150, third 50.

voters get 3 or 5 points per vote.

I think that once a month is good.

The photos being all available to see at one time is important I think.

No photoshopped images unless a special "Photo Challenge" is put up.

No girls or other "props" allowed unless a special "Photo Challenge" is put up.

A Moderator would help control the allowed photos and start the challenge.

A poduim photo (1st, 2nd, 3rd) is not allowed to compete again. The 10 photos will help keep good photos for a long term. Sure there are lots at first but how many in the long run with active members.

I think that a Tournament style format would work as well using at least 16 photos.

This would be a GREAT idea J.  It would prompt people to actually learn how to take a quality photo of their car.  I like this idea.
