the alarm was not set as it was in my driveway and really windy out, the alarm would have been going off all night.

that blows. ill keep an eye out on 95 for it

sorry to hear that,hope you get it back,what every mustang owner should do is ,i have installed a shutoff relay switch to my fuel pump to keep it shut off when im at a  store or at home ,and also a kill switch to the ignition,you cant drive it if there is no gas ,but the fuel pump switch is hidden and awesome for security.but they can still tow it away

Sounds like an inside job... maybe your going to be on overhaulin....

All kidding aside, that sucks...  You left it alone for one night with the alarm off and it happened to be stolen?

Thanks everyone, this is so terrible. I have not sleep or eaten well the last few days.  My mustang has been sitting out for three weeks as I broke my garage door. The alarm was not set with the car in the driveway as it is so loud and would go off frequently so I did not set it at the house.

I need to hear more about these kill switches, please send me the info.

sorry to  hear about that my stang sits in my driveway and i always thinking about somebody stealing it but what i do is disconnect the relay for the fuel pump under my drivers seat and if they want to steal it there not going far yet alone out of my driveway.. hope u get it back in one peice.. they probly had there eye on the stang for quite sometime now,,

i feel really bad for you. sorry for your loss. hope it turns up ok. my car was almost stolen twice & no longer resides where i live. it is hidden somewhere in the town i live in safe & sound & protected by a multi-gun owner :-) your GS family prays for you & your stang.

I would have to say at this point that the car is probably chopped.  Have you been checking on eBay to see if any similar parts that you had on your car are showing up there?

UPDATE - I received a phone call early this morning to say my mustang had been found.  She is damaged but she is sitting in my garage right now waiting for the insurance adjuster to come out.  I will put pics up on my front page shortly.

Glad you got her back too bad they messed it up. Just be Happy the Creeps were caught!!! Hope you get enough from Insurance to cover all damages!!!

the cars is damaged but thats ok. it can be fixed. the most important thing is that you got it back & the not so nice people who took it were caught! i would say this has been a pretty good outcome.

Christine, I am so sorry to hear this.  I had a mini truck that was stollen and recovered.  I told them to keep it once I saw the condition.  For me I thought it would never be the same again.  I hope yours turns out better for you.  Good luck with it all.
