Is it the stud, or the nut that holds the rocker down, that keeps coming loose?

I have not gotten that far with Boss yet so I will figure you are way ahead of me and have arp studs and red loctite?

yep

i can tighten it down and not have a problem for like 2 months and then out of nowhere it just works its way loose again. doesnt take long to fix but is a pain in the ass having to worry about it

yeah but i think that when the heads get hot and the vibration it just jiggles out of there eventually lol

That would irritate me to no end.  I was reading in a tech thread where this guy used  chevy threads, cut some off of the bottom and used them because it allowed for more thread engagement and therefore strength.  I lot of work but he claimed it was worth it.

im gonna have someone else look at it while im on vaca. maybe they can figure somethin out. 2 heads r better than 1
