Trunk and undercarriage dont count as much as the others and usually do not decide a jfo. There is no radical judging here.

Many times a well displayed car win.  I voted for Nay on this one for that reason.

i see it like this the three big areas are exterior, interior, and engine bay

minor areas but not unnoticed undercarraige, trunk. a well set up site helps as well and a mods list to see what is actually all done.  i think i am the only one with a picture of almost every single one of my mods to show judges what all i have. yes mine is a daily driven car but when they see the undercarraige and the 6-9 different colors down there they know there has been some work done.  its liek kind of backing up your mods list.  presentation is everything in this matter because the judges dont actually know what you have unless you yosemiddysam and have ridden, worked, seen my car in real life.  just wait till you see what i wrote for dpack vs roush  i left a bgi explanation of why i choose what and i bet some one is going to be unhappy.  that how it is.... one person is always going to be unhappy not to count out the ppl who wagered and lost... but dont worry if your on my list your going down!!!!! muahahhahahahahahahahahaha

yeah but most if not all the military members let ya know they are in the military. That would be the only exception. For the most part we can still get on even while deployed except for the ground side and yes this site would be the last thing on there minds.

Not necessarily delete older/inactive members, just shut down their faceoffs.  Increasing to 10 faceoffs and going 24 hours would be perfect. Give all a chance to wager and let a few more cars be involved at one time.  Also, you should only be allowed to be in one active judged faceoff at a time to allow others to get in.

I agree 100% with James.  I actually lost points on that face-off.  Hope you fell better, as you can see I am in the top 20 of top bidders, I use to be in the top 10, but was out of the country for 132 days which I lost valuable ground.

THE JUDGED FACEOFFS ARE NOT A CAR SHOW. lol  I will be creating a judged car show soon enough.   Judged face-offs for all intesive purposes is a non-biased thought of a judge on which car he likes better.  It was built to get rid of the buddy voting.  Its like going up to 3 random people on the street, which car do you like betteR?

I totally agree with the grey areas.  Not all judges judge with the NOT ENOUGH PICS YOU LOSE type of response... which is what happened here.  We need a set of rules for the judges for the judged car show, they will have to fill out a point sheet for all to view once they are finished. I am going to need your help, sample point sheets, etc...

 For this one, the only thing he didnt have pics of was the engine, using common sense, James still has the better car.

well if there was a forum room where only judges could enter they could all come together and make this sheet for you and what they want to see on it then they could show the people the final product of what they will be judged on

well for starters,i dont think you can judge a car on a one point system,he gets one point for the engine, and she doesnt. it has to be like a 10 point sytem. the major areas should be exterior,engine(drivetrain),interior,mod list,overall cleanliness,and detail.then go into other areas.trunk,undercarriage etc

I agree, nobody wants a one point system nor was that in the thought process. There needs to be a fair way to judge all cars.  The problem with all shows is nobody takes in consideration the work done to the car.  Nicoles 4-8 swap always loses against a very very very clean stock car. 

That makes sense to me to LX and J. a 10 point scale seems to be a good way to go.
