They pull right off, though it is tough to do. You can use a screwdriver (I suggest you wrap it w/a rag or towel to protect the plastic lens if you don't want to trash it) or a plastic pry tool. If you're lucky you'll be able to literally tear them apart from the housing with your hands, but that probably isn't the best idea for your first attempt. I used to restore tail light lenses and after a while I got to knowing the tricks to getting them apart, and sometimes I'd just yank them apart in about 10 seconds.

The biggest thing, whether you use a prying tool or your hands, is to not try to fully separate one side and then do the other. Pry/pull them apart evenly throughout the whole lens, then keep going around like that so you don't stress any of the old, more-than-likely brittle plastic. Of course, again, if you don't care what happens to the old lenses then just yank/pry away.

The new ones go in the same way, and you'd probably be best off to get some new sealant/butyl to line the edges with for a nice seal.
