Need some help on Fuel Injectors

My GFs 98 GT is running like crap and i have a feeling it is an injector. I am better at replacing parts then fixing something broken and don't have a lot of experience here. I am hoping someone might have some experience with this.

My GF got gas a few weeks ago and apparantly has been stubling and sputtering since, even on the next tank of gas. She had me drive it and under light to medium excelleration the car definately is not running right. I popped the hood to see if there was anything obvious and immediatley noticed an od sound. I had to listen for a bit to pin point the spot but it sounds like it is coming from one of the passenger side injectors. usually they have a pretty good tick type sound, this sounds more like a sucking tick sound. i am just not sure if it would be from the valves or if it is an injector.

We tried some injector cleaner but I think it is too late for that. She doesn't have much money so I don't want to change all of them but may change just the one I think is bad.

So I have been a DJ for about 10 years, but i was retired for a few. In January my old boss and I had a "Disagreement" and I needed a new job. I went back to being a DJ, and am the Mobile Entertainment Director for Axis Entertainment (lvprodj.com).

As part of being a DJ in the 21st Century you have to have a website to promote yourself. So my DJ website is done, just missing the fancy flash intro.

There are three different mixes on there for download for free, so you can get something out of a visit. The mixes have mostly Hip-Hop, some 80's, some alternative, some house.

I am in the May 2008 Modified Mustangs mag. The Heasley files talk about gas mileage and he talked to me Adam C. and Brian. We were the cover cars last month. No photos just words this time.

I am also in the Mustang and Ford Trader Magazine (Not for Sale). There is an article written by Jerry Heasley in there called Cheap Thrills. It's about the camera system I had in my car when I spun out on the track. He thought the system was cool, and a very good price.

I got permission from J to create a new video for GS.

So what I need are some good photos of your car. Let's go for the same rules as the calender if we can. I should be able to get a lot of cars in there, but I want this to be cool and really represent GS well.

Interior, and engine ok

My plan is for about 3 minutes to music. Not sure on the song yet, but I am thinking something current, maybe a remix or something. I am a DJ so I have a HUGE selection of music.

If you haven't seen the video "Not What I Planned To Do," you may not know what I am talking about. After checking out the car and pulling the side skirts it looks like I did get pretty lucky after my spin. I have to buy both sides on the side skirts,(even though only the DS is damaged) and I am getting them painted from Roush. I figured I might as well to make sure they match. I have a little ding in the rear wheel, some dents in the X-pipe, and some scrapes on the Aluminum Roush LCAs. At this point the only thing I will replace is the skirts. Everything is fairly minor.

I have to thank the guys at stage3motorsports.com for being nice on pricing to fix my car.

Just loaded it the other day. "Not What I Had Planned"

It is an in car video of me in the Roush, going of track in Turn 3. There is also a few shots of the results, not too bad, more then I want, but still not what I had planned.

Made the Cover...

I am on the cover (in the background of the Modified Mustangs Magazine April 2008. The article starts on page 46. The photos were taken September of 2006, yes 2006. It seems with this car I have to wait for everything. I waited 7 months to get the car now a 1 1/2 years to get in the magazine. I am happy I was able to make it.

The article does mention all the mods I have made, and lists most of my current mods so that is kinda cool becuase the photos are old and don't show them.

I also mentioned Gotstang.com and FNSweet.com but it wasn't put into the article.

FO Points

So now the points are changed on the JFO, and that seems to be working can we change the points on the FO. All of the members at the top are too new to be challenged by many other memebers.

How can they hold the top records, yet not be challenged?

I guess they COULD just accept the challenges.

For those of you that don't follow Roush products, Rouh released the 427R Trak-Pak car for sale last year. This is a car set for the club trial events with a few extra goodies on the car. One of the main things on the car is a full coilover suspension system.

I was able to talk to Roush at SEMA and get one of the first sets they had available. Here is a shot of parts

I am looking forward to getting them in and "testing."
