Parting out my 99 Cobra

1999 Cobra part out, ENTIRE CAR

Price : PART OUT, if whole thing....make a reasonable offer, you low ball, ill laugh

Description:

Like the title says this is a complete part out for a 1999 Ford Mustang Cobra, red in color still complete. Reason being for part out is nasty rod knock in motor. Then it has sat since April. Last time tried to start the starter just sounded like the motor wont turn over.

The Good:
interior: solid 8/10, black leather interior
tranny is good
diff is good
axels are good
steeda side exhaust
steeda tri-axe short shifter
prochamber pipe
NO-CATS in the exhaust system
stock wheels with or without tires
and another set of stock wheels, oddly enough with ford escape tires on them
headlights are clear
clean and clear tail lights
dent free rear bumper
whole passenger side good
drivers side from door forward is clean and smooth

The Bad:

rod knock? seized engine? no holes in block though, unknown reason why it died, cut off on interstate @60mph... assuming a failed oil pump
dent on drivers side rear 1/4 panel, ~size of small child or midget..quoted 1700 to fix and paint at freedom ford.

My Poor Cobra

Ok so I was on my way home on Monday night on the interstate and the car in front of me slammed his brakes on, so I tap mine. I have enough room to slow down and don't even have to stop, but the lady behind me (who was on her cell phone and tailgating me) did not. She slammed on her brakes of her 1995 Toyota Camry and swerved into the exit lane and somehow ends up back in my lane and slams into me. The entire passenger door is now pushed in about 8 inches. She hit me so hard my windshield cracked and the inside of the door is pushed up against the seats of the car, and the dash is not right. I am happy that everyone was ok and nobody was seriously hurt besides my minor whiplash and the muscle spasms in my back from my shoulder rotating out from my seatbelt

So now the worst news.....the insurance company took my car to a salvage yard and it will probably end up being totaled So I have to look for a new car on top of dealing with the insurance companies........

Just need to vent a little. Last weekend I went to the Exchange to pick up a few items. I came out of the store and go to put my bags in on the passenger side and see that somone has hit my car! I was so irritated! This is the second time I have been hit and each time, it has been the panel where my cobra emblem is. So now I have a lovely dent in my car that cannot be popped out because it creased the fender/flare line and the whole panel now needs to be replaced. The person left no note and I am so irritated that I have to pay to fix someone else's mistake! People who hit another person's car and don't leave a note SUCK!
