De'Jay Headlight Tint

Here is a couple pictures taken over the course of 5 days of me tinting a OEM Ford Mustang Smoked Headlight using a Yellow film. The pictures pretty much show the install process... just making sure the lens is perfectly clean before applying the film... adding a drop or two of dish washer soap to a bottle of filtered water (sounds funny, but filtered water doesn't have chlorine). Then soaking the whole headlight in water as well as the film. After the film is applied, I used a squeegee to remove all the water possible from behind the film. Afterwards it will still look like shit but not to worry... you just have to sit the headlight out in the sun for 3 or 4 days.... the sun does all the work from there and drys up all the water from behind the film.... I was in a hurry taking the pictures of the headlight installed on the car... I didn't want to rush and scratch my car so I used my Mom's Mustang as the Ginny pig this time around. You can see the difference in the stock headlight vs the tinted one below... I'll be doing blue headlights here in the near future so be sure to watch for updates. Special thanks to....
