| Step 1: Wiring Blinkers |

Wiring Blinkers |
| http://www.gotstang.com/photodisplay.php?iid=104614&normal=1 Some aftermarket 1 pc headlights are using newer style bulb sockets which can support a future HID upgrade. The bulbs supplied even if not a full HID kit, still require re-wiring because the wires are different. See image for style, not all are the same; but I will make notes so you could use some info for other types. FACTORY HARNESS: black = ground white/green = signal for blinker brown = power Supplied bulbs/socket wiring blinkers (3wire): black = ground yellow = signal for blinker green = power Supplied bulbs/socket side marker lights black = ground white = power Cut back some of the protective tubing so you can see enough wires exposed. Careful, brown and black are difficult to tell them apart, so study them carefully. Use tap-in connectors to connect the wires to their corresponding color between the factory and new socket wiring. the use of tap-in connectors still allow the OEM sockets to be used if you decided to go back to stock. >Black connects to Black >Ford Brown connects to aftermarket green on blinkers and white on sidemarkers. >Ford white/green connects to aftermarket yellow |
