This was my First mustang. I bought it at the age of 17 while i was still in highschool and it was COMPLETELY stock. The first thing i did was install a Mac O/R H pipe and remove the stock tail pipes. The car sounded good, but it just didn't have the tone i was looking for. Then next mod i did was install a Steeda Tri-ax shiter (THE BEST shifter IMO). Then i slapped on a set of 2000 Chrome Cobra R rims and a BBK O/R X pipe. I also went ahead and installed a set of FRPP shorty headers, 4.10 gears, lowered the car 2", white face gauges, some misc engine monitor gauges, and a Nitrous Works Wet nitrous kit w/ 100 hp jets. The car was running consistent 8.90's - 9.0's on motor (STOCK NON PI HEADS), and 8.10's - 8.20's on nitrous. I then got my hands on a set of PI heads, which i had ported and polished. When i installed these, i decided to sell the nitrous kit, as this was my daily driver and i didn't want to run 10.5:1 compression and a 100hp shot of nitrous. The car w/ the PI heads was runing consistent 8.80's with a best of 8.69. Then i had the best luck and the motor blew up. Soo I then got my hands on a complete 2002 GT motor that i had the heads ported and polished on. The car was then running the same 8.80's as with the 97GT w/ PI headed motor. Then i got into some financial problems and had to sell the car.. She has been missed.
