rear end swap w/ 5 lug disc brakes

updated: Oct 7th 2007 @ 04:42 PM

here is a few pics of my rear swap from a 2.73 geared 8.8 to an 8.8 w/ 3.55s & 5 lug 4 wheel disc brakes. a huge upgrade over factory setup. shortly before the rear swap i installed, 73MM SVO front calipers w/ Hawk pads, crossdrilled rotors, SVO master cylinder, gutted the factory proportioning valve, installed the required FMS plug & installed an SSBC adjustable brake proportioning valve. i cannot begin to describe the difference. its like driving a different car! this car now has the full Saleen/SVO 5 lug brake setup. the brakes, gears & suspension are some of the most noticable changes that can be made to a fox stang!

Hey folks, I was wondering if someone out there with an 88-93 Fox convertible could do me a favor.  I am looking for a picture of the of the ‘A’ pillar post window weather strip showing the weather strip and inside trim molding (the molding on the inside of the pillar post) and another detail picture of where the pillar post molding meets the door seal molding.  I am redoing this and need an example – my car was repaired long before I purchased it and they kind of did a ‘custom’ job on this area.  I want it to be right this time.

Thanks,
