Odometer(updated every drive session):27,639.3 miles
This is me(Corey) and my 'Stang. It's a '99 (35th Anniversary) Limited Edition GT. This cars build number is 1,850 of 4,628 produced(I am currently in the process of finding out the day it was built...etc). It has the 5 speed manual transmission. I bought it from my brother in April of 2005, so I know that it has been babied. He, as well as the owner before him, never drove the car in rain. It has never had one rain drop on it. My junior year (2004) I took this car to prom when it was still my brothers'. The car had 22,428 miles on it. I took it to prom again in 2005(since it was my car then)and AFTER prom 2005, it had 22,459.1 miles on it. At that exact mileage is when the car was "officially" mine. When my brother got it 4 years ago, it had almost exactly 21 k miles on it. If you do the math, that means that he only put 1,400 miles on the car in 4 years, now that's what I call low miles! The car is completely stock as of right now other than a custom exhaust, AVS black outs, K&N filters, Bosch Platinum 4 plugs, and an engine dress up kit. He had a custom exhaust put on not long after he got the car, which consists of 2 1/2 inch pipes straight out of the cats(which are punched out), to 18 inches of 3 1/2 inch chrome tips.
So I know what you're thinking now, where does he get 326 horse if that's all he has done to the car??
Well, all the little upgrades(exhaust, plugs, k&n filters)added a little horse to begin with, but those were just for fun. Where all my horsepower came from was when the original owner of the car had the motor sent to the Ford Motor Company. The motor was balanced and blueprinted, and once it came back, Eugene (the original owner) had the car dynoed, and the dyno showed a very impressive upgrade to 326 horsepower. If you can, get your motor balanced, you will definately see the difference!!
This is my show car, for my project drag car, keep looking!
