In the Begining.....
I bought my car in 2003 as a graduation present to myself. It is a 98 GT 5spd, tan leather interior, mach 460 sound, was dark sadle green. when i bought the car is had an off road H-pipe and that was it, and i told myself that all i would do to it was exhaust and gears, then i would be done...... I lied
The car first got 3.73 gears and flowmasters, b&m ripper, steeda quad and cable with firewall adj. the first ram clutch came next. After the first six months of driving it, i found holes in floorboard to suggest that the car had been sprayed, then a rod bearing started to knock. so i pulled the motor and was faced with the ULTIMATE decision.... to stay 2V be it PI swapped heads or full 99+motor or go 4V......
Motor choice
I finally went with the 4V choice, i kept it stock for the most part, under drive pullies, CAI, plug wires, 255lph intank pump, adj fuel pressure regulator.
Then my demon woke up and i put an NX wet kit on it jetted to 100HP and a SCT Flip chip. The motor held strong for about a year, Granted it was a high mileage motor to start with out of a 98 cobra, Then the rod went East on me out the side of the block.
The next motor was a 97 4V that had Longtubes, IMRC deletes, and all the stuff off the first one.
