History of not giving up..
I got her when the 05 first came out. I went to the dealer to look at a 05 and decide if I like them or not and ended up getting her.(mustang #2)
I did not trade in my 96 Gt (mustang #1 )as it would have added to my loan more than i cared for. So it was offered up to my 16 year old daughter. All she had to do was get a job. Great incentive as she had one by the end of the week and she now has the loan in her name.
I owned Miss Kitty for just over a year when my wife took her to the dealer for inspections and emmisions. That's when she told me they had a 05 Saleen for sale but she did not care for the color. So when I got done with work, we went over to the dealer so i could see the color she classifed as "Toddler snot green". Needless to say I purchased the Saleen (mustang #3) and trade in Miss Kitty.
Then after about 2 months we took the Saleen in for oil change and to tighten the suspension up. One of the guys at the dealer said a friend of his was coming into to look at Miss Kitty as she had not been sold yet and the wife said no she was buying her back. (I did not believe this) So whilst I was out getting the rental she put the paperwok in and well now we own Miss Kitty again (mustang #4 or #2) Got a lower payment and 2 new tires.. Got to stop burning the rubber.
Well it was fun while it lasted. I ended up with a bad knee at the begining of the new year and could not drive the 5 speed in stop and go traffic. I lent the car to my daughters boyfreind for a while. The right side O2 sensor failed and we got it replaced then the front one went. When it was at the dealers they found the manifold was cracked. Go figure that.. In the process of deciding what to do my wife and I decided to trade it in on a new car for my daughter to use. So we got a 06 Mercury Milan for her. After we had decided to trade Kitty in they found the block was slightly warped. (wonder if I did that or factory warp) We got the car used and had the tranny replaced under warranty. Of course the warranty ran out at the new year so the manifold would not have been covered helped in deciding to trade her in. The owner before me I think really beat the crap out of the car. She had a great sound with the flow masters. So now I have traded her in 2 times. The dealer can fix the problems now. Thanks
Well I have more to the story. I posted some pictures over on a local web site and some one post up "who owns this car" after reading this I have now found the original owner of the car. The poster of the question said his mom owned the car originally and she has posted pictures of it up. SHe was the one that put the checkered flag and mufflers on. It a small world when you drive a Mustang. I may even get the new owner's info. I will keep this updated.
