just wondering if anyone here has installed cams in a 3v yet ?? ive been reading some horror stories around the net, hopefully its not as difficult as people are making it sound. if anyone has any info or links to any info that would be greatly appreciated.

well wish i could help dude but i personally havnt had the pleasure of that yet. its no walk in the park on a 2valve or a 4 valve and if it wasnt for the fact of the 3v having the adjustable cam timing crap i would say its not that bad.. ive personally found the 05-09 mustangs alot easier to work on then the others and have gone through a 08 engine already and i havnt found anything really difficult about them. but like i said i havnt done a cam install on one yet. wish i could help more

I agree with James on this one .. my friend who is very mechanically inclined tryed his and spent 6 weekends doing it. He said if he had to do it again he would pay someone to do it. BTW his thumper cams sound HOT.

im not changing the springs, so im assuming it shouldnt be that bad, but the phasers seem to screw people up.  i talked to tech support at brenspeed and they claim it only takes 4 hours. ill probably start this weekend, pics and complaining will be posted as i go.
