My first Stang

This 68 model stang is my first. We bought it in the spring of 04. When we bought it it was in bad need of repair. My step-father and I spent the last year repairing it, and only finished it today literally. It has a 289 V8

and a completely new paint job. The original color was lime green but the guy we bought it from had it painted red. We sanded it down and repainted it blue with white Lemans stripes. We took the car apart and put it back together, and did a 90% restoration. We added the fog lights, and the Shelby hood. I hope to add the hood pins soon. We didnt make many modifications, because I wanted it to be a classic reproduction of the way the car was originally. It is a standard with a 3 speed transmission. I do have a few more modifications in mind. The 289, though a great motor, has a few problems so I want to drop a 302 in it a put a 5 speed transmission.
