On sunday I thought it would be fun to go out and search around for some of the hunt items. I ended up completing 61 of them and there is still 153 more that I want to complete. Best part of all, a whole bunch of new pictures of my car. Dont you like the way it sits with the Steeda Sport springs? I hope to soon get some rims.

I know they are pretty similar angles but like I said they are from the hunt. I got my camera working so I will be posting more regularily. I will take my camera to work tommorow as well and snap some pictures of the engine.

I originally rescued this car from the wreckers in August 2006. It is my first ever mustang and when I first got her she needed alot of TLC to bring her back to life. The passenger ball joint was broken, the drivers had play, the tie rods were bad, the passenger rear coil spring was broken, the struts and shocks were weak, and the car didnt have a muffler on it at all it was just coming off of the Y pipe. Also needed the regular maintenance items like new plugs wires and a coil. The car was throwing codes for two o2 sensors as well so I replaced them too.

Anyways I brought the car back to life, and have slowly been replacing the last of the things that need to be replaced to get the car running good again and safely. I recently replaced the front calipers, rotors, and pads. I used stock replacement calipers that I painted red with Powerslot rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Very good combination would recommend the rotors and pads to anyone. I still have to do the rears. I need to replace both rear calipers, rotors and pads again.

I also replaced the rack & pinion because it was leaking power steering fluid. When I replaced the springs I replaced them with Steeda Sport springs and I was impressed with the drop it produced and the ride quality. I replaced the shocks and struts with monroe reflex. I am going to be correcting my steering geometry soon with X2 balljoints & a bumpsteer kit.

Me and some friends at work welded a custom pipe and a cherry bomb turbo muffler temporarily until I am ready to do the exhaust properly. When I do the exhaust I am going to use magnaflow highflow cats, 2.5" piping with Steeda mufflers and 3" tips. The reason I didnt do the exhaust right away is because I am swapping to a split port motor ( a 2000 v6 motor ) at the end of May.

I am a member of the Canadian Mustand Owners Club and would recommend to anyone in Canada the site. Great bunch of guys.
I am also a member of the v6power.net community. Great place for technical info on v6's.
I am 94stangr.

Thanks to all who gave me advise on what to do with the sensor. Apparently it worked. The check engine light has not come on at all. I even bought the Chilton Manual to make sure I did everything right. Thanks everyone.

Hey Fro,

I need some help with a little problem I have. My check engine light came on, and I ran diagnostics on it and it came back with P0401. So I replaced the EGR Valve and found out that wasn't the problem. Now I get a P0402 and I think I have it narrowed down to the pressure sensor but I need some one to confirm that for me. What do you think?

Dennis

If you've already done the EGR valve, the DPFE pressure sensor is the next likely culprit
