The modifications began about 6 months after getting the car.
At present, these are the modifications on the car...

yes its dirty!!! I know!!
Under all that dirt, however, lies a DSS pro mod shortblock. The shortblock consists of a cobra steel crank, Manley H-beam rods, Probe dished pistons (17cc), ARP hardware, tri metal bearings and moly rings. ARP also supplied the headstuds.
The power adder of choice, as you can see is the Vortech S-trim V2 SQ. Utilizing a 3.48 in pulley, combined with the power pipe, 10# is the norm.
To make sure everything is cosher in the combustion chamber, i rely on a 03 cobra fuel pump to supply fuel to the 42# injectors, and a 90mm lightning mass air and a SCT 4 bank chip tuned by Ed Clark to modulate the air/fuel ratio at a nice, safe 11.5:1 with a safe amount of timing for 93 oct.
The transmission is a tremec TKO, rebuilt cause i knocked a few teeth out at FFW Richmond June04 in true street. Clutch is from D&D, with a steeda adjustable quadrant. The shifter is from UPR and i love the way it shifts. Awesome shifter...ive yet to miss 3rd. I also have an aluminum d/s with a metco d/s loop.
The 8.8 is factory ford, but has been enhanced with Moser 31 spline axles, a 31 spline t-lok (from and aviator!), and a trick flow Diff cover.
Exhaust is all MAC...longtubes, with a prochamber, catback with 3 1/2 in tips. Nice rumble, but not annoyingly loud.
The suspension is mostly stock. Just subframes and boxed control arms. I keep it real.
Keeping the car looking as stock as possible, i couldnt help but notice how sweet my buddys car was with the pro stars....id see the looks and hell, i thought they were sweet myself. So i ponyed up (pun intended) the bucks and got some. Other than that, i want my car to look as stock as possible.
Keeping with the stockness....i left the interior alone, with the exception of white face gauges and the phantom autometer gauges that compliment them on the a-pillar.
