Welcome to my gotstang? page for my '95 Mustang GT. My car is currently in the middle of a complete overhaul, and here is a picture of the beast, up on jackstands and with front fenders off-

Yea, I know it looks like theres a huge wheel gap, but its just because the cars on jackstands and theres alot of missing weight (just about everything in the engine bay)

Heres how she was before I tore the engine down and am redoing the engine bay:

'95 GT 302
E303 Cam
Pro Flo MAF
Short Throw Shifter
FRPP Shorty Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Series Exhaust (from the headers back)
A/C Delete Kit
Eibach Lowering Springs on all four corners
18" 95 Cobra R Rims

Im completly psyched about this build, and I keep coming up with more ideas to make my car nicer, better looking, and most importantly: faster. Anyone can have a shop do all the work to their car, but I can't quite afford that, so I will be doing almost all of this myself. Things have changed since I last updated this, but that was a long while ago. My budget has expanded, so Im going to do two buildups. The first which im in the middle of now, is to prep the engine, open it up, and get some good N/A Horsepower. Heres whats in due for sure for the current build:

331 Stroker Kit
GT40 Heads- See page 5.
V-Max Variable Duration Lifters
Cam To match to provide power 4000-7000
1.6 Roller Rockers
Windage Tray
New Valve Covers
MegaSquirt EFI Standalone computer system.
Maximum Motorsports Front suspension

With the variable duration lifters, it lowers lift and dur low end giving more tourqe and HP, then gives the normal lift/duration 3500 rpms and above. The cam I will be selecting will focus on 4000-7000ish rpms, and the lifters will compensate and give me a great tourqe curve from idl-redline.

Pics are now on the next couple pages, there will be more when I find the other disc or I take more.

This will take me to mid summer, around July 11th(which is when I get my liscence back), but I wont cut corners, so If it takes longer, Ill bite the bullet, save money longer, and do it the right way.

I have a cardboard template of a secondary firewall. Its just going infront of the current firewall to make the engine bay alot cleaner, hide alot of the wiring. My work will order me the Aluminum for cheap, and Ill fabricate it to fit.

The Holes in the engine bay from the stock wiring harness' little plastic clips to hold it in place and the other holes that I wont be using are being patched up. Im currently doing some each night so I shall have pics up when im about halkway done.

After this is done. Its to saving for the second half of the build, a Turbo kit. At the moment I am Planning on an HP Performance Kit.
