CS6 Hood Mods

When I did my CS6 conversion I did't know I would have clearence issuses with my X-Charger and the strut tower brace. So after the install I had to cut a "mail-box" in the under-side of the hood so the pulley would clear and there were several rub 

spots with c.a.i and throttlebody.

So I had the bodyshop cut the center section out and re-glass it to the bottom of the top section

 

 

This gave me atleast 1 to 1.5 more inches under the hood. Now I have no clearance problems at all and have enough room for future upgrades (i.e intercooler for my X).On my original stock hood I had a buddy make some SLIMER ghost decals that went under the hood. They were a big attention grabber and added a more original theme for my car. With the CS6 hood they had to go but now with this mod I wanted to bring back the "SLIMER" in full force.
