Filling Holes |
This first step has to do with filling holes that will serve no more purpose. First, You will want to cover the entire engine with plastic. I didn't do this and it left one hell of a mess. You will want to either Weld them or do what I chose to do. JB Weld the holes shut. Here are some pics. [ remotely linked image: click here ] [ remotely linked image: click here ] When applying the JB Weld you want to mix up a small amount and fill in the hole. If you have a large hole you will want to take a piece of sheet metal and put it behind the JB Weld. I have seen guys put tape behind the hole and after the JB Weld dries take the tape off. Please remember that patience is key here. You will not do this in 5 minutes. Go To Step 2. |
