This is the air/oil seperator. It filters the oil from the air in the line from the pcv valve to the plenum. This minimizes the oil that gets in the intake and lessens the likelihood of detonation.
I added the redline tuning prop rods, sure is nice for working on the engine!
After $350 for a time-sert kit my car runs again,
Make sure to correctly torque your spark plugs when you change them!!! Also check them from time to time.
The instructions with the kit are pretty good but it would be nice if it tells you how far you go with the tap.
I went until the tap turned easily and it worked fine. Note te beautiful black duct tape bandage on the wrist
