Built Not Bought 1995 Mustang G.T Project
|
These are the pics of the stang which were displayed on the eBay action page. Yes, you read it correctly. I purchased this stang off of eBay for the "Buy it Now" price of $1800.00 Sight Unseen. She was not running and the eBay pictures althought didnt look bad, did not show the condition of the interior which was awful.
|
The pics below are her first pictures taken the night we picked her up and trailered her home all beaten, battered, and abused. Below you will see some pictures of the condition of her interior at time of purchase.

To say that the interior of the car was rough would be an understatement. The front seats looked like Wolverine got ahold of them and then set the steering wheel on fire. The carpet was nasty, it looked as if everything under the sun had been spilt on it at one time or another. The backseat itself was in okay shape, but was very dry and weather beaten and needed alot of leather conditioning.

The engine was completely stock and pretty much untouched when we trailered her home.
Still had original (never been replaced) factory plug wires, belt, and hoses. (which were all replaced)
She had been sitting in the previous owners carport broke down and neglected for over two years.
The day after we brought her home we started working on bringing her back to life. We gave her a new battery, new plugs (NGK UR45's) MSD cap and rotor, motorsport wires, and changed all filters..ect. She was purring like a kitten in no time.No knocks, no tapping lifters..ect ect.
Next on the list of maintnace and repairs was New Brakes, New Rack n Pinion and gave her an upgraded to a 190 in tank Fuel pump. We Got rid of those nasty straight pipes and installed an Off road X-Pipe, Flowmasters withturn downs. Installed a Mac Cold Air Intake and 80 mm MAF.
The little plastic bushings in both power window motors were shot and had to be replaced to get the motors working again. (Purchased the plastic bushings off eBay..saved a hellofa lot of money by just replacing the bushings and not the complete power window motors..so if you can hear your motor turning/working but the window doesnt go up or down..I would recommend you try replacing the bushings first)

Below is my newest project and my last project sitting side by side. Makes you wonder what she will be like when she is finished. These pics of the G.T and her new V6 Pony Pal were taken right after I had just finish giving her a prof. buffing and removed all the crapy window tint that the previous owner seemed to install himself (which was peeling back in several places and turning purple,)so it all had to be removed before new tint could be applied. Once I finished removing all the old tint I took her to a local professional tint shop (same one I used for my V6) and got 15% tint on the side windows and 5% tint everywhere else.
