This is my 1994 GT AODE. I got the car in April/May of 2006, and spent right at a year stripping it completely down to the bare shell (minus the the AODE shifter, which is a bitch to get out). It is now sitting on boards w/ casters mounted on them in my driveway w/ a tarp strapped to it. It is good from the shock towers all the way back, and still has both the rear quarter panels on it (I started to drill out the spot welds, but that is a huge PITA as well). If you're ever looked, Late Model Restoration Supply wants $550.00 plus shipping for these, and they list for ~$900.00 brand new. Both are in perfect shape. If interested, email me @ bradleyjp@vcu.edu.
I got the car from a friend's father. I paid what I thought a parts car was worth, and ended up talking the guy down about $300.
The car was wrecked when I got it (I can't stay away from the wrecked ones). The guy I bought it from worked with the guy that wrecked it (spun on I-64, hit a guard rail, not pretty), and he bought it from the insurance company and had it sitting in his yard for three years before I saw it. It had a completely muffed up front end, broken rear bumper, broken rear window, and broken driver's side tie rod end. I went to look at it, hooked the battery up to a charger, came back the next day to try to turn it over, and it started right up.
First thing I did was remove the fenders and hood (bumper was already knocked off for me).
So without further a due...
