Snakes...it's love at first bite. At least it was for me. I didn't plan on buying this car. In fact, I was in the process of building up my 99 Mustang GT. I had just ordered a Sean Hyland Cobra crate motor for it when I came across this for sale on SVTPerformance.com.

For shits and giggles, I went and saw it. The moment it was started up, I was done for. The Cobra's sound so sweet from the factory, but this one sang that Mac Prochamber/Borla Stinger sound that I absolutely love...I had to have it. I am very partial to Borla, my 99 GT had it too. Next came the test drive...Oh my frickin' God...I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
But of course, all love stories have their ups and downs. The downs for this one started immediately after I got it. From a Supercharger pulley that was put on backwards, to a bad install of a T.O.B. from the previous owner which grenaded a brand new clutch with only 1500 miles on it, I ended up having to have a custom made pressure plate from McLeod to mate my clutch up to my unusual T56. The original factory T56 shit the bed after clutch #2 was in. So, off to D&D Performance I went for a built up T56 capable of handling 650hp...that did the trick. Now the car will plant you clear into the back seat when I drop the clutch at 5000 rpm off the start line at the track. I would love to find out how many G's this thing gives off when it launchs...
