1965 Supercomp coupe | updated: Jul 14th 2005 @ 01:45 AM |
Here are a few random photographs of our 1965 coupe. The car boasts a 514ci 460 pushing somewhere in the neighborhood of 900 naturally aspirated horsepower. She tips the scales at a scant 2085lbs with driver. This car is still a work in progess and has yet to see the track, but has been built to run in the Supercomp class (8.90 index). It will initially be setup with a 2 speed powerglide transmission, then we're going to remove it in favor of a 4 speed lenco.
The car features working headlights, and tail lights. The bumpers are real, as is the grill, horse and coral. The doors, front end, and trunk lid are all fiberglass.
