Engine reworking

updated: Feb 2nd 2006 @ 10:19 PM
On August 5th while staging for my second pass I heard a noise, of course I shut it off pushed back to the pits and trailered it home. Turns out a I broke a valve guide in number 5 cyl. parts endded up in 1,5 and 6 along with 4 bent intake valves. Anyway I now have Patriot heads on my VT shortblock, heres some pics of the new bullet and install.

Patriot stage 2's

Hopefully the improvements will take me into the low 11's or maybe a high 10. Next track runs Sept 30th. cant wait

Traction was a problem on the 30th. so I backed down the nitrous and ran mid 11's, should be running 10's this coming season
