I got a cobra emblem to replace the pony on my 97 SVT but cant seem to find the tool to get it off,does anyone know where i can find the tool and possibly the size. can anyone help?

im not 100% but arent they rivetted?  if so, you can just drill out the old rivets.

sorry if thats not a whole lot of help...mine i know is rivetted in right now,....just a guess really.

When I took my side badges off I used fishing line to saw through the double sided tape. It helps more if you let your car sit in the sun for a few hours to soften the double sided tape. Use the fishing line to cut through it. Thats what I did.

dejay, i think he means the grill emblem, not side emblems as they are already cobras....the pony only exists in the grill...

my 98 cobra has to flange bolts holding it on. they are T25H tork head, youcan buy them or maybe rent one from a parts store. they are the security style like on most mass air meter bolts.
