As of Thursday (8-10-06) a warrant was issued for the man accused of killing Opie for open charge of murder,which means it will be up to the judge or jury to ultimately decide whether the suspect is guilty or not guilty of first- degree murder,second-degree or a lessor charge.First-degree is punishable by life in prison with no chance of parole.

These are the charges the suspect has been charged with:
Homicide Open Murder-Life in prison
Carrying Concealed Weapon-5 years
Felony Firearm-2 years

I wasnt aware of this until Friday so i wasnt at the arraingment but i did see video of it and the suspect gave a cold hearted look in the direction of the family and friends of Adam.His preliminary is set for this week.I will keep you updated.

We all have been in a geeked up mood since the news spread that he had been finally charged.He has been in jail for a month on probation violation charges.It is going to be long procedure but we are not giving up.As more court dates are set more of us cruisers will be appearing in court to support one another and we all will be wearing our shirts in memory of Opie.
