Mustang at home + Engine

updated: Feb 11th 2007 @ 07:56 PM

Mustang at Home

Sitting in the driveway, just finished being
buffed out.

Rear view.

Side view with a little more sunshine.

Finally got the black paint on the bottom
with a red pinstripe.

Different Angle.

This engine has a new Comp Cams kit installed
which includes new springs, retainers, and everything
else included in the kit. The lifters were bad, during break-in
they were not colapsing which caused the lobes on the cam
to round off, which dumped alot of peices of metal into the engine.
Comp Cams engineer says the kit could have sat on the
shelf too long and caused the springs in the lifters to rust and not
work. I repulled the engine and sent it to Jasper Engines for a
complete re-manufacture which included a Stage II high performance
build. I then painted the engine black and added some chrome.

Ford Blue

I also stripped the engine bay down and painted.

Ready for the new engine.

351 Cleveland
Holley Street Avenger 670
Edelbrock Performer Intake
MSD Ready to Run Dist. and Blaster II Coil + Wires
K&N Air Filter / Ford Racing filter housing
Hooker Headers with Flowmaster Mufflers and pipes through the back.
All of the High Performance upgrades.(too many to mention)
