A BRIEF HISTORY
Hello, my name is Brian, aka Yellow360. This is my stang and this is its story. To begin I have to go back to June 2005 it was my 17th wedding anniversary and I was having dinner with my wife. She started telling me she wanted another new car. At which point I told her I was tired of driving around a kids truck (Chevy S10)
It was at that point when she laid it out there for me, she told me she reserved a 04 Saleen Mustang as a gift for me. We went straight from dinner to the Saleen facility in Irvine. That’s when my Screaming Yellow Saleen picked me out. I should also mention that my wife put a little caveat on the deal. I had to quit smoking and if I started up she would sell the car. So far so good.
About the car, we got it brand new directly from Saleen. It’s a S281-SC, that we picked up in mid August of 05. Saleen added a Supercharger to it in December 05, the SC was ported, polished and tweaked at Saleen; by one of the S-7 engineers (a friend)…it puts out just under 10lbs of boost with the stock pulley. Below is my list of upgrades. It started out with a CAI to make it stand out from the other Saleens...well it's been over a year now and I'm still working on making it "my own".
