The goal and Mods Round 1!

The goal with this car is for me to have fun! I bought the car 100% stock, and managed to spring the $$$ for a K&N filtercharger kit, pulleys, and Flowmasters welded in. She was that way until late '04. First upgrade was a Cobra Upper/Lower intake with a MAC 70mm TB.

Here is a pic of the engine bay after the stock upper/lower were yanked.

My g/f was nice enough to let me tackle this project over a few months. She tolerated parts in the hallway, living room, and kitchen just to name a few places. My work schedule only allowed me a few hours a week to work on things, so it took a while, but here is the final result of the intake install.

I also used this time to install an MSD Dist Cap, new coil, new MSD Rotor, new plugs, and new FRPP plug wires.
