well, um got the new pump in kinda,  trany slid forward about a 1/4 of an inch and now i cant get the oil pan back in and I still need to get one bolt back in the pump.  Done for the night, and have a plan for tommorow to move the trany back with a trany jack, so get stuff bolted back up.  Man I can see why garages would charge 800.00 bones for this job.  If I had disposable funds I may have paid it.  But I have learned many lesons during this endevor.  one never expect things to go the way you want, cause you will be disapointed, and always have plenty of people around to give you encourgment when things are not going as planed.  All and all, it could be worse, there was a guy with a Z28 on the lift next to me who had been working on his car for 4 days doing several different mods to include some trany stuff.  He finished up put the car back together drove about 10 feet before the car quit.  Oh well Sh@t happens.  Should finish up the car tomm, and be back in business.  I'll keep you posted.
