yeah, i had to give up my stock intake, so that made up some of the cost....but who cares about that...lol....the rails, fittings and burst N2o burst discs tallied in over $600....alone......and everything has maybe 100 miles on it.  lucked out i guess.

As for how i did it....that can be summed up in 3 words.  Tons of sandpaper. lol....started from 100 grit and worked up to 1500, wet sanding with 2000....then a cleaning/scratch removing compound, then a high polish compound...then topped it off with mothers aluminum polish. for good measure.  It took me about 22 solid work hours on it over the course of a week.

yes, definitely a lot of work!  I wanted to beat myself silly with a hammer  10 minutes into it....but once you start to see the results, you get more motivated to finish.
