what do you mean planning to sell soon, i hope you are not talking about the stang.  But i have not used coilovers but some of my friends have them. They deffiently will let you get the ride hieght you want, not to mention if you get struts and shocks with compression and rebound adjustment you can even get a comfortable ride for daily driving and then adjust for track purposes. I was actually thinking about doing coilover suspension on my car next.

if it is payed off then do not sell it. you will never get what you really want for it.

coilovers can be terrible on the street...they tend to make lots of noise.

not to mention, it would actually be cheaper to just put lowering springs in....try fox body 4 cylinder springs and cut half a coil....perfect drop, and great ride....and very cheap.
