I have always loved the Shelby Mustangs. Even when I was younger they demanded a higher price. My personal favorite has been the 68 GT500KR Convertible. Since I could barely afford a rusty Mustang, I decided I would build my version. Shelby built two coupes in the 60's. One was a 67 called Little Red. The other was a 68 named the Green Hornet, a GT500EXP with a fuel injected 428 and IRS! It survived and is owned by the Jackson's of Barrett Jaskson fame. Shelby even recreated the Green Hornet (Black Hornet) and Little red. In Mexico Shelby sold a few 67 Shelby coupes for road racing and the 67 Trans-Am Mustangs were coupes. So I figured I could build a 67 Super Coupe!

When I was building my car, I intended to replicate the 68 Shelby look. When the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds came out, I was in love. I had to create a Eleanor Super Coupe.
My first car, a 67 Coupe.
Started rough too...
My sisters boyfriend (now brother-in-law), my dad and I fixed it up.
I built up the 289 and drove it a lot in the ~10 years I owned it. I later bought the Monza to take the daily driver duty as the the radical 289 was too much for daily use.
You can see one of my friends (Bobby's) Mustang on page one next to mine, a red 67 hardtop.
Here is my dad's and a few more of my friends Mustangs.
My dad's 66 hardtop he has had a million years!
Ray's 65 FB - before and current
Donnie's 67 factory 4 barrell 289 4 speed (we plan to restore this one) he's had it since 1981.
