ok, so when we first started up the 302, the very first thing that came to mind when I heard it....

damn, it sounds like it's got a cam in this motor (which we know nothing about any internal work done to this engine, we only did valve covers, timing cover/chain, oil pump and oil pan.  so; we don't know much of anything about it internally other than it was original stock parts on the outside and has 85k miles on it)

 

so; my stang has seen many people, and almost every one said to me without me even talking about anything;         "damn that definately has a cam in it"

-The shop that gave me the sticker

-The guy who painted J's bumper

-The tranny shop that rebuilt my AOD

 

so; without pulling the valve covers off, I have no idea if it has a modified cam

but it does sound like it does

 

one day...I'll find out for sure
