dont worry about the illumination...most autometer gauges have little colored bulb covers that come with them.....so you can match up the illumination.  I personally have the ultra-lite series which are silver faced.  they do have white faced though.

as for the a/f gauge....unless you are just looking for a light show, dont waste the money on one like i have pictured below.  they are not accurate whatsoever.  get a wide band.
