Surely you've heard of Mustang Memories, right?

I have not actually, as sad as that seems, but I would like to find some good mustang shows.

My club hosts it at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn each year. Last year we had 770+ Fords (mostly Mustangs, of course). Check out the club website, you can also find pictures and info for last year & this year's event: www.mocsem.com. It's a judged show or you can display only. Huge event, and they give out the Dream Giveaway Mustangs here. Last year we hosted  the Boss Reunion and this year is the SVT Homecoming.

The Motor City Shelby club also holds a show at that location each year, it's coming up on June 3:  http://www.saac-mcr.com/main/2012/ It's not as big but it's still a good show. Participant voting here.

I know a ton of other local shows but these are the only Mustang specific shows within 40 minutes or so. I know of others over an hour away if you're interested, as well as a bunch of others that get a decent showing of Mustangs. The MOCSEM club has a bunch of show guys who go to many events together.

What about the NMRA event at milan?  Thats not exactly Detroit, but still fun.

Yea, there's that too. Not as big as the others but if you like to watch racing it's worth going

Also, the Mustang and Ford show in birch run is a pretty good show too.  (Or it was the year I went)  Not sure on the date, but worth checking out.
