Hi everyone, my water pump on my charge cooler is making a loud sound ,like a loud buz/hum noise. Is this a normal sound for a water pump on a Vortech charge cooler? Very loud noise.....Help?

Yes.  You can buy more expensive ones that are quieter.

Make sure its sucking water, cuz that could cause loudness too!

So could something be blocking the water flow, and that would make it louder?

not sure you have to look at the specs of it. Water flow or some shit...  have you tried disconnecting the line to the cooler and see if water is flowing out of it?

1hot look at it this way. With the superchager your not going to be a sleeper. The car will make odd noises. Thats part of the fun. What you want to look for is how the car runs, Boost levels, Air fuel etc. Looking good man!

I disconected the water pump hose and reconected it, it must have had traped air in the line, because the loud sound has stoped! Talk about strange. One question is the charge cooler suppost to be hot when car is running or cold to the touch?

The best thing to do is measure the air intake temperature with a gauge.  Worry more about the air going into the engine then the temperature of the cooler.
