my 5.0 might have rod knock not 100 percent sure havent dropped the oil pan yet but you can only hear it once u hit about 2000 rpms ive had rod knock in my honda one time and you can hear that at idle i gues the 5.0s not that bad im not sure if its rod knock or spark knock but i sure hope its not rod knock im not looking to replace the engine yet
  i just got the car. anyone have any ideas it might be the exhaust going bad and ratteling but you can hear it from the driver side i keep oil in it and what not im gonna change the oil and see if its got metal flakes in it
